I am a fighter and a brain tumor survivor who overcame challenging odds at a young age. My recovery, rehabilitation process and passion for helping others inspired me to pursue a career in the fitness, nutrition and wellness industry. In 2004 I took my first steps towards guiding others to be a healthy and more confident version of themselves.
I hold a professional certification through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) in Personal Training with additional certification/specializations in Corrective Exercise, Pilates Mat Science and Group Fitness Instruction. In addition, I am a Certified Nutrition and Wellness Consultant through AFPA (American Fitness Professionals & Associates.) AFPA is nationally accredited by the American Naturopathic Medical Accreditation Board.

Not only that but she has taught me proper eating and nutrition balance. She has helped me she’s 20+ lbs!!! I have also taken her boot camp classes as well as personal training. 💯 % recommend !!!

Melissa taught and shared really good about nutrition, Im so glad I was able to fo the class and now Im implement things I learned in her camp with my family. Melissa is very kind and she answer any questions you have. Also one thing that I admire from her is how she is always so positive and motivate others. I also got her book if you havent got it what are you waiting for?? you need that book for sure! A+++ experience.

In a desperate attempt to avoid more surgery and medication, I decided to search for a trainer with Pilates experience to help strengthen my weak areas. Melissa came highly recommended and worked with my many limitations to put together a plan to alleviate my pain. Fast forward and we’ve been working together for over two years. It hasn’t always been easy, but it has always been worth it. I am stronger than I’ve ever been, and this is the longest period of time I’ve been pain free in my entire life. Meeting Melissa changed my life. I’m proud to call her a friend and the most thorough and skilled trainer I have ever encountered.

Changes take time and the results are so sweet! I have been working with Melissa for a few months now and I have lost 20lbs and my body has noticeably changed, without a fad diet but by changing the way I think about food and finding what works best for me and is sustainable to my lifestyle. And I LOVE working out now. Melissa’s work outs are fun and up beat! Don’t get me wrong though, she really knows how to kick my booty! Beyond my physical changes, I feel more confident in my food choices, I FEEL so much better and my confidence in myself has increased tremendously! She is a beautiful soul with a passion for helping others live a healthy life! I am so thankful to her and her knowledge, training, love and kindness!!
